Finding spring this Easter!

Easter 2012
Last year on Easter, in Baltimore, the weather was great.  The sun was shining and I was not even wearing a coat!  Spring was in the air and had no trouble getting it into gear.  This Easter was cool rainy and left me thinking, where is spring?  So, after going to church, seeing some family, eating ham, drinking a couple beers, eating an Easter egg, eating some candy, and finally having a soda for the first time in 40 days, I went outside and looked around the yard with my camera.
First I found the Return of the Hydrangeas!  The sequel to Hydrangeas Strike Back!  I see that they are starting to grow back.  My mom asked and asked for mulch all winter and me I just kept telling her that the leaves would take care of it!  Glad to see it back because I would have never would heard the end of it.  The branch top looks like the face of some worm or snail from some old children's book?  Keaep smiling Hydrangea!

The next thing I find are the Easter Flowers?  Not really sure what type of flower this is, but as kids we just called them the Easter Flowers.  They don't seem to bloom like they used to.  I'm happy to find that one of the plants is on the verge!

Birds!  Of course this bird is always around, but was glad to see them on this rainy Easter.

This led me to the bird bath.  It reminds me of spring I guess. Also, the reflection of the tree and my head I thought would be cool.

Finally, I got to the rose garden where I took multiple pictures.  Lots of new growth.  It appears that no rose garden apocalypse has occurred and there is new hope for recovery!  I show some of my favorites below and at the bottom of this post is a link and slideshow.
